Melissa Brown Wenrich, DC, DACNB

Dr. Melissa Brown Wenrich is a women’s health expert with over 13 years of clinical experience. She graduated from Logan University in 2005 with her doctorate in chiropractic. During her doctorate program she focused her studies on women’s health, pediatrics, pregnancy and nutrition. Since graduating she has continued her education and is certified in acupuncture, The Webster Technique for expectant mothers, musculoskeletal pain in pregnancy, tempromandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), Kolar Dynamic Neuromuscular Stablilzation, and is a Board Certifed Chiropractic Neurologist. Dr. Melissa has completed the coursework through the Institute of Functional Medicine and will become a certified functional medicine practitioner in 2019.

Dr. Melissa has completed her fellowship training in Concussion/Mild Traumatic Brain Injury and Vestibular Rehabilitation, Childhood Developmental Disorders and Movement Disorders.

Brittany Anderson, WHNP- BC

Brittany is a nurse practitioner, fitness & nutrition consultant, and wellness advocate providing education and holistic support to empower women from preconception through postpartum.

Brittany received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Indiana University where she was a 4-year Varsity athlete. She then went on to earn a Master’s Degree from Vanderbilt University and is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Brittany is passionate about supporting women from preconception through postpartum. She has pursued trainings in strength and conditioning, functional and integrative medicine, DNS, prenatal yoga, lactation support, and as a birth doula. She also serves her community as the local BIRTHFIT Regional Director.

Dr. Candice Baker, DC

Dr. Candice is a licensed chiropractic physician. She obtained her degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic following a degree in Cell & Molecular Biology. During her doctorate program, she focused her studies on women’s health, including chiropractic care during pregnancy, as well as chiropractic care for infants and children.

She holds an additional certification in the Webster Technique, which is a safe and gentle adjusting technique for expectant mothers, and continues to expand her knowledge through regular courses from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). As a mother herself, she has a passion for supporting other mamas before, during and after pregnancy and helping them raise healthy children.

Nicolina Heggem, Office Manager

Nicci keeps Nashville Brain and Body functioning as well as our patients do. Her focus is helping our practice run smoothly and caring for patients throughout their journey from initial visit to celebrating their victories in health!
