  • How do I know which service is right for me?

When you contact our office you will be asked questions that will help determine which services best suit you currently. You can decide to add additional services at any time. We offer a breadth of therapies in our office and many of our patients utilize several of them at different times during their health journey.

  • Can I bring a friend/family member with me to my consultation?

You are encouraged to ask questions on any health-related topic and to take an active role in your health-care. You are welcome to bring a friend or relative to your visits if such companionship is comfortable for you. We encourage all fertility focused patients to bring their partner.

  • Do you work with other health professionals in the area?

Yes! We love being a part of a supportive team and refer our patients to other practitioners in the community daily. We believe patients heal with a strong, supportive team around them. We are just one piece of that puzzle. Due to the large amount of prenatal patients we see in the office we have a strong network of birth providers we trust so just ask the next time you’re in our office. New to the area? We are here for you!

  • Is the information we discuss in my appointments confidential?

Yes, information revealed during counseling sessions and office visits is confidential. Exceptions to this confidentiality include disclosure by you regarding intention to harm yourself or others. Your record and the information contained within it will not be disclosed to others unless you direct us to do so or unless the law authorizes or compels us to do so.

  • What’s the best payment method? Do you accept insurance?

We accept cash, checks, credit cards, FSA and HSA cards. We do not accept insurance, nor do we bill insurance due to how much time our providers spend with you. However, we will furnish you with an itemized bill for self-submission to your insurance company.

    For our Functional/Foundational Medicine patients:
Because we do not accept insurance in our office, all services, including labs and mail away specialty lab tests, are self-pay. You may be able to submit to your insurance for reimbursement or file directly depending upon which labs/testing your provider suggests. We will help determine which companies may be better suited for your needs. Please email us at info@nashvillebrainandbody.com for any questions regarding billing.
